She arrived to the Senate of Virginia with much promise and potential. It was pride and ambition that got in her way.
She was REJECTED twice by the Chesterfield County Republican Committee and was ultimately rejected by the Republican Party of VA. She was REJECTED by fellow Senators, REJECTED by the people of District 12, and REJECTED by her husband. Chase moved to Appomattox and blamed all of these REJECTIONS on "The Establishment", rather than looking in the mirror. She brought these rejections on herself because she refused to follow the rules.
Chase came out as a rising star, with seventeen pieces of legislation becoming law. She served on four committees: Ed & Health, Local Govt, P & E and Transportation.
