ATTEMPTED TO SERVE A PROTECTIVE ORDER ON A FORMER EMPLOYEE
AFTER SNAVELY LEFT CHASE'S TEAM, HE SENT A MEMO TO THE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE ABOUT HER FILING A RED FLAG ON A FORMER STAFFER WHICH SHE DENIED IN COMMITTEE JUST BEFORE SHE INTRODUCED SB1488. (CLICK PHOTO) THIS BILL WOULD'VE ELIMINATED THE RED FLAG LAW. CHASE'S RED FLAG RECIPIENT APPEARED IN THE GALLERY OF THE SENATE, NEVER SAID A WORD TO HER OR WENT NEAR HER, AND SHE FILED A PROTECTIVE ORDER ON SNAVELY AS A RETALIATION.... BUT IT WAS NEVER SERVED!

CHASE WAS TOLD SHE COULD NOT VOTE IN THE ELECTION BECAUSE SHE HAD VIOLATED THE RULES AND WAS KICKED OUT OF THE COMMITTEE, AS WELL AS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. ANGERED, SHE WENT OUTSIDE TO RALLY THE PEOPLE ENTERING THAT SHE HAD BEEN MISTREATED. WHEN SHE REALIZED SHE WAS BEING VIDEOED SHE TOLD THEM TO STOP AND WHEN THEY DIDN'T, SHE PUSHED THE PHONE INTO THE GIRLS FACE. POLICE WERE CALLED, AN ASSUALT & BATTERY CHARGE WAS FILED AND SHE HAD TO APPEAR IN COURT. THE CASE ENDED WITH THE JUDGE SAYING THERES ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO CONVICT BUT IT WAS PLACED ON A DELAYED CONVICTION WITH CHASE ADMITTING TO THE CHARGE AND WAIVING ANY APPEALS IF SHE BROKE THE PLEA DEAL WHICH SHE SIGNED. SHE AGREED TO HAVE NO CONTACT WITH THE VICTIM FOR 6 MOS (11/13/24).

THE VA SCOPE/BRANDON JARVIS (EDITOR) WROTE THIS ARTICLE ON THE ASSAULT CHARGES BUT THERES A LOT MORE COVERED THAN THE ASSAULT. CHASE POSTED ON FB AND SPOKE AT EVENTS THAT SHE HAD BEEN VINDICATED BUT THAT WASN'T REALLY TRUE.
THERE WAS EVIDENCE TO CONVICT HER, BUT THEY DELAYED THE CONVICTION WITH HER ADMISSION OF WHAT HAPPENED AND WAIVED ANY APPEALS IF SHE BROKE THE PLEA DEAL SHE MADE (AND SIGNED).

To whom it may concern,
Thank you for the opportunity to work as legislative aid for Senator Amanda Chase however, my resignation will be effective immediately.
Prior to accepting the position in September of 2022 I clearly expressed the need for expectations to be made clear. The only job description that I received was from Senator Chase that said I would be “it” and she would laugh. No clear and understood lines and expectations were ever made drawn.
Since accepting the position I have been required to play many roles in the job. I have acted as an event coordinator and planned fundraising events to raise money for her re-election campaign.
I have traveled to events and acted as a personal assistant. These duties consisted of driving her to and from events, taking photos, making social media posts, carrying, setting up and selling campaign merchandise and acting as security for her personal protection.
Once session started, myself and the other LA were expected to drive to Senator Chases home to pick her up and drive her to and from the Capitol every day.
We were responsible for researching bills and writing talking points for her to present the bills.
We were required to walk her to and from the senate floor and committee rooms and sit in the gallery as protection.
We also were required to maintain her social media as well as her mass email list. This included multiple posts and emails daily to let her constituents know that she was “doing a good job”.
All meetings with constituents and lobbyists were done by the aids and refused by Senator Chase. All of this would be done without the ability to get lunch unless it was pre packed and eaten between tasks.
After driving Senator Chase home every day we would be required to be available for calls, texts and “team” conferences. We were informed that we were not permitted to attend any events without permission from Senator Chase and any personal events were required to be placed on the calendar so she would know where we were at all times.
We were also told that our jobs were 24/7 and expected to be available at all times. This included calls at all hours on the weekends and evenings and texts at all hours of the night.
We were instructed as to who we were and were not permitted to speak to because they were potentially her “enemy “.
Many disagreements would lead to yelling and belittling from Senator Chase. This would be so bad that I would even have to pull the vehicle over on the road due to the distraction on the highway.
There have been evenings that Senator Chase would demand for one of her aids to stay in her home due to her fear for her personal safety.
After all of these continuous expectations, I was told that we still didn’t meet her expectations for an aid. Coming into this position I had hoped to be able to be an advisor and help Senator Chase to mend some relationships within her field as well as help keep her toned down to an extent but after a short time, it became evident that that goal wasn’t attainable.
Due to the stressful nature of the job I can no longer continue. I once again appreciate the opportunity and wish no ill will towards Senator Chase.
